The DWI / DUI Court Appearance

Your first court appearance could be scheduled weeks or even months from your arrest date.

Defendants are usually required to attend the first criminal court hearing. If you have hired an attorney, then your attorney will meet with the criminal prosecutor to obtain all evidence that the state has gathered against you.

The court will then give you a new court date for the first announcement setting. From here, the court process can vary from case to case. Your DWI defense attorney will help walk you through this process.

If you would like to speak to an attorney about DWI defense representation, then call our office today for a free consultation at (469) 718-2020.
